In February of 2019, I completed the challenging UX Academy of Designlab intending to switch careers and start working as a UX Designer. During this 480-hours course, I had the opportunity to gain experience working on all the stages of the Design Thinking Process, on real-life projects. At the same time, UX Academy course helped me to improve the skills Ι already had on UI Design and introduced me to a variety of UX Research techniques, tools, and methodologies.
What I'm looking for now is to use all this knowledge along with my previous experience on design, as a member of a creative, dynamic and innovative UX Team. This team I would like to allow me to grow, learn and develop new skills on UX Research and at the same time let me share my years of experience on design with the younger team members.
I have 10+ years working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director in offline advertising media and 5+ years of proven experience designing delightful digital products for multiple devices for various industries.
During all these years, I had an everyday collaboration with other professionals like developers, project managers & marketing teams. I have participated in numerous presentations and meetings with key stakeholders and I managed a small team of graphic designers.
My previous experience in the fast-paced working environment of advertising agencies helped me learn how to quickly adopt new methodologies and techniques, develop excellent organizational skills, stick to the deadline and always stay calm and focus in crises. At the same time, I have been noted for delivering high-quality work on time, and for helping other team members to do the same.
I'm a quite curious, analytical, insightful and realistic person. I'm a self-motivated and constant learner, passionate about UX and other areas of design and innovation. I have a clear understanding of technologies which allows me to smoothly collaborate with developers.
I can become obsessed with defining the right problem and I enjoy working within a collaborative team consists of multi-disciplinary professionals on projects where design and technology are used to improve people lives, help communities flourish and create a positive impact.
When I'm not working, I enjoy learning new things; I enjoy to read psychology, sociology, and design books/blogs. In my spare time, I'm a TV series/movies/documentaries nerd and an avid knitter.
